Qualifications
•The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in customs brokerage, a deep understanding of international trade regulations, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional service to clients
•Licensed Customs Broker: Must hold a valid Customs Broker License
•Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs brokerage
•Expertise: In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, tariff schedules, and import/export procedures
•Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex customs issues and develop effective solutions
Responsibilities
•As a Senior Licensed Customs Broker at Current Internatioanl Freight, you will play a pivotal role in managing the customs clearance process for all of our clients
•You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of goods across international borders
•Customs Compliance: Ensure all customs procedures and documentation are in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations
•Classification: Accurately classify imported goods according to the Harmonized System (HS) codes
•Tariff Determination: Calculate and verify customs duties and taxes owed on imported goods
