工作时间: 周一至周五下午 2:00-6:00 pm.
工作内容: 辅导K-6课后作业，新移民学生ESL。
．接孩子到校，协助孩童完成当天功课及指导作业。
．辅导孩童行为规范，矫正不良习惯。
．做好学习进度记录，让家长充分了解孩童学习状况。
薪资待遇：
$15-$25 依能力需求面谈
An after school enrichment program and learning academy is looking for
several responsible and highly motivated after school teachers in our
Flushing branch. Hours will be from Monday to Friday 2:00-6:00pm.
Candidates must have minimum of 1 year experience in teaching. Must be
able to explain students’howmework in English fluently.
Responsibilities:
Responsible
for assisting the students with their homework as well as the extra
enrichment to support their academic development.
Implementation of lesson plans as per core curriculum.
maintain a safe, secure and clean classroom for the kids.
Skills and Abilities:
- Outstanding communication skills is a must
- Communicate effectively with school diretor and provide reports on students progress in weekly basis
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure work environment that requires high levels of self-motivation
- Must work as a team member, but be capable of completing given projects with minimal supervision
- Strong academic background in Reading, Writing, Reading Comprehension and Math Strategies
- A passion for teaching and the desire to help each student succeed
- Energetic, Highly Motivated and Enjoy teaching
- Must work well w/kids
- NYS teaching certified and graduates in related teaching subjects is a plus
- Mandarin language speaking background is a plus
Pay： $15-$28 per hour TBA
