Production Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage all samples to ensure their movement through the product development process in coordination with the development calendar
2. Strategically manage in partnership with design bill of material (BOMs), fabric and trim, issuing trials, tests, and color approvals
3. Identify and troubleshoot costing/quality control challenges along with design and resolve with vendors
4. Audit and confirm sample quality in terms of workmanship, specifications and other technical details to ensure all requirements are being followed correctly
5. Maintain files that support all product record keeping
6. Under the direction of manager to perform a variety of duties for local/overseas production
Compensation:
$17.00 to $24.00 per hour
